Christ is here for Week 16 in the NFL, and the slate of games is massive on Saturday for Christmas Eve.
Two teams that do not typically face each other too often will be going head-to-head when the Buffalo Bills take the trip to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears.
The Bills need to continue to keep winning if they want to maintain their position towards the top of the AFC, while the Bears started the season 3-1 but have been the losers of 10 straight games since then.
There is some hope for Chicago with their stash of a couple of draft picks and the good qualities that have been present in Justin Fields. Unfortunately, he still has some trouble throwing the ball.
Buffalo looked dialed in against their recent win over Miami, and puts them in a situation where they are favored in this game over Chicago at -9.5.
Fighting to be the best at the top of the AFC
The AFC is host to a number of strong title contenders. After their rough loss in the postseason last year, Buffalo has been on a mission to make it back to the top all over again.
Their offense is as strong as ever. Even though there was a midseason blip where they struggled to put points on the board, Josh Allen looks as dialed as he can be in both running and passing the ball.
His connection with his receivers is elite and all of the pass catchers on his team can break open for a big game on any given week.
The Bears are going to be in for a world of hurt as their defense is a little bit weak in the secondary and it will allow Allen space to carve them up.
Another year of survival to the finish
With the upside of Justin Fields ready for a full season, the Chicago Bears had a lot to look forward to. Roaring to a 3-1 start, Fields had not even played very well.
Fields turned it on for the rest of the season and elevated his game to be one of the best rushing quarterbacks we have ever seen, but it hasn’t translated to many wins.
The Bears have a lot of questions, and the biggest one will be asking how high their draft pick will be at the end of the year.
Bills @ Bears Betting Prediction
Another year goes by as we head into Christmas and most of the games being on Saturday means both of these teams are on short rest.
With that said, the Bills look as dialed in as they have been all season long. That isn’t to say they won’t give up some points, but they should have little trouble taking care of business.
Take them at -9.5 in Chicago and for Josh Allen to have another monster performance for the second week in a row against this weak Bears’ defense.
