They finished 42-32-8 and didn’t seem to have much hope going into the postseason. However, what this team has done throughout the playoffs has been nothing short of spectacular and proves that they have a legitimate chance of winning the Stanley Cup. Many didn’t believe that they were going to get past any of their rounds and they’ve done so with dominance against some of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

Despite being up 3-0, the Panthers aren’t a team that will come out and not give it their all. They’ve clearly proven that they know what’s at stake and they’re going to do everything that they possibly can to make sure that they continue winning at a high level in this series.

The Carolina Hurricanes have disappointed once again when it matters most, which is something that has been said far too often throughout the past few years.

Carolina is typically one of the top teams in the NHL, and similar to this season, they typically find ways to lose when it matters most, and it’s been a call for concern. At this point of the series, it doesn’t seem likely that Carolina is going to be able to win the next four games, but the hopes for them are going to be taking it day by day.
