In 37 innings, Taillon has struck out 35 hitters, walked 11, and allowed five home runs. In his previous outing, Taillon went 5.2 innings, allowing one run on three hits. He struck out three and walked none in a 2-1 victory over the San Diego Padres.
Angels Try to Stay Afloat in AL West
The Los Angeles Angels come into play with a record of 32-30, good for third place in the American League West, nine games behind the Texas Rangers in the division standings.
The Angels currently sit just four games out of a wild card spot in the American League playoff race. Los Angeles has won their last two games and will be looking to get on a roll to stay relevant in the playoff races.

On Wednesday, the Angels will send righthander Jaime Barria to the mound to secure the series win. Barria has a record of 2-2 with a 1.59 ERA.
In 34 innings, Barria has struck out 34 hitters, walked 11, and allowed two home runs. In his previous outing, Barria went five innings, allowing one run on four hits. He struck out six and walked three in a 12-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Chicago Cubs at Los Angeles Angeles Betting Prediction
The Cubs are trying to compete with a few big names sprinkled in with very young talent. They have the luxury of playing in the weakest division in baseball, while the Angels are chasing two of the best teams in the American League.
The Angels are starting to gain momentum and Taillon has struggled this season. Expect the Angels to come out early and put a few runs on the board. Los Angeles -140 is the play here.
