We have one of the top MLB games of the day and probably the most exciting as the Cincinnati Reds travel to Baltimore and take on the Baltimore Orioles. These two teams have been the most fun in baseball this season, and that doesn’t look like it’s going to change anytime soon. With what both of them have done throughout the past few weeks, it’s easy to see why people are high on both of these teams and expect them to be two of the best in baseball for the foreseeable future.
Continue reading below for our Orioles vs Reds bedding prediction.
Orioles Closing in on Tampa Bay
The Orioles have been a team that needs to be watched out for not just in the future, but right now. A team that plays Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Cedric Mullins, Felix Bautista, Jorge Mateo, Anthony Santander, and many others has a chance to be a real problem in Major League Baseball this season.
There’s a reason why the Orioles have had all of their top prospects making huge debuts for them, and that doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon. They’ve played extremely well this season, and their 48-29 record and only four games out in it the American League East shows that.
The Orioles are going to have a tough time if they can’t continue playing this way, but at the moment, there’s truly no reason to think that they won’t be able to do so. They beat the Reds in the first game 10-3 as they were able to jump out early with a 4-1 lead through three Innings. If they can continue swinging the bats the way that they have, they’re going to continue finding themselves in great positions.
The Reds Are Back
The Cincinnati Reds might be the only team in baseball that’s more fun to watch than the Baltimore Orioles. With Elly De La Cruz, Matt McClain, Joey Votto’s return, and Jonathan India, the Reds have also proven that they’re not even a team to watch out for in the future, but somebody that needs to be taken seriously right now.
They’ve gone 7-3 in their last 10 games after their huge win streak and are just a half-game behind the first-place Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Central.
With Andrew Abbott getting the start, it’s going to be interesting to see how he throws in this game. Abbott has been filthy throughout his first few outings, owning a 3-0 record and 1.14 ERA in his four starts. He’s only allowed 14 hits in 23.2 innings and has struck out 22 hitters. He’s going to be one of the future stars for the Reds and can prove that he’s going to be one of the best pitchers in baseball for the coming years in his start on Tuesday in Baltimore.
Cincinnati Reds at Baltimore Orioles Betting Preview Prediction
Although the Orioles won the first game of the series, backing the Reds in this one doesn’t seem to be a bad idea. The Reds are going to be coming in at +120 odds and it’s a great time to take a plus-money bet.
