The College Football season has moved to Week 5 of the season. We are excited about the games played so far and interested in what will go down in Week 5.
Let’s take a look at the College Football Week 5 Best Matchups to Watch.
USC Trojans -21 at Colorado Buffaloes
Anytime the Colorado Buffaloes are on the slate, that’s a game people will want to find. The USC Trojans now come to Boulder to take on Deion Sanders and his Buffaloes. Caleb Williams will want to make sure he welcomes
Deion and his defense to the national picture with a great game. Williams is the leader for the Heisman coming into this game. Can Shedeur Sanders match him in this one?
This will be a long game for the less-talented Buffaloes if he does not. This is an early game in Boulder, so the boys from Southern California must wake up early to prepare.
Kansas Jayhawks +17 at Texas Longhorns
The Kansas Jayhawks, led by Lance Leipold, are one of the most surprising teams in College Football. Many are surprised at the Jayhawks being 4-0, but others are surprised at how good this team is. This will be quite the challenge as they take on the Texas Longhorns.
The Longhorns are on the path to head to the Big 12 title game but will need to get past this game and then head to the Red River Rivalry game next week. Texas looked great on the road at Alabama, but Kansas brings a different type of team.
The Jayhawks can hit defensively, so ball security is necessary for the Longhorns.
LSU Tigers -2.5 at Ole Miss Rebels
Brian Kelly and his LSU Tigers already have their one loss on the season, so they know how important this and all the games are from here on out. Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels are also coming off a loss. This is a big game for both teams.
Look for the Tigers to want to keep control of the ball and have the ability to run the ball. The Rebels may be in a hurry. The Rebels are going to want to make up for their inability to score like they were used to last week. The team that takes care of the ball better in this game will win.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish -5.5 at Duke Blue Devils
Marcus Freeman and his Notre Dame Fighting Irish are coming off a loss. A tough loss. The last possession of the game loss. Now, they have a tough trip to Duke.
Many are scared about a letdown for the Irish in this game, but the reality is – Duke is an excellent football team. Seeing this Duke team as an underdog at home is always interesting.
Tennessee Volunteers -12 vs. South Carolina Gamecocks
A big SEC battle. The Volunteers know they will have a tough trip to South Carolina here.
The Gamecocks are good enough to pull an upset, especially at home. Do not overlook South Carolina here, as this has the potential to be an outstanding College Football game on Saturday.
Alabama Crimson Tide -14 at Mississippi State Bulldogs
Another SEC affair here. Nick Saban and his Crimson Tide are two-touchdown favorites on the road. It’s hard to imagine the version of the Crimson Tide that struggles to score as a two-touchdown favorite. It’s fun to watch Saban and his team to see if they can improve on the offensive side enough.
There it is. Those are some of our favorite games to bet on this weekend. College Football Week 5 is going to be fun. It’s not as loaded as Week 4, but it’s still an excellent slate of games. Best of luck, and enjoy!
