Colorado Buffaloes at Oregon Ducks Betting Preview
In a huge College Football game on Saturday, the Colorado Buffaloes are on the road at Autzen Stadium in Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks. This game can be seen on ABC as one of the week’s games. Both teams come into the game ranked inside the Top 20, and both teams are 3-0 on the season. The Colorado Buffaloes, coming off the thrilling win over Colorado State, will look to beat their win total of a season ago.
For Oregon, it’s business as usual, with a 3-0 start, and their 10th ranked in the Associated Press poll. These two teams played a season ago, and the Oregon Ducks won 49-10. That was played on November 5th, 2022. This year, the Oregon Ducks are -21 in the game over Colorado, with 71.5 points as the total.
Sanders and Buffaloes Talk of the Town
Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes have been the talk of the College Football world. The Buffaloes are the most-watched team in the game. His son Shedeur is the starting quarterback and has been exceptional thus far. Sanders has tossed the ball for 1,251 yards and ten touchdowns through the first three games. His favorite target has been Xavier Weaver, who has 25 receptions and 386 yards, with two touchdowns.
The Buffaloes will be without star receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter. Hunter was injured in the win over Colorado State. Hunter has 16 receptions and 213 yards but has yet to score a touchdown on offense. Hunter is also the best cornerback on the squad. The Buffaloes also have Jimmy Horn Jr., with two touchdown receptions, and Dylan Edwards, with 3.
This is the first big test for the Buffaloes. Next week, they will return home and take on Caleb Williams, Lincoln Riley, and the USC Trojans.
Ducks Ready to Calm the Storm
The Oregon Ducks cannot wait to welcome the Buffaloes to town. There is no doubt the rest of the league is tired of hearing about a Buffaloes team that won three games a season ago. Oregon comes into the game as one of the best offenses in College Football. Oregon is scoring 58 points per game. The offense is coming from both the ground game and the air attack. The passing offense is 7th with 357 yards per game, while the run game is 11th with nearly 230 per game.
Bucky Irving is the top running back for Oregon, with 216 yards and 3 touchdowns. Troy Franklin also has three touchdown receptions on the season. Quarterback Bo Nix will need just over 100 passing yards in this game to reach 1,000 on the season.
The Ducks are starting a stretch of games where they will also be tested. The Ducks are at Stanford and Washington in their next two, then host Washington State before going to Utah.
Ducks Win; Buffaloes Cover
This is a ton of points to cover for Oregon. Do not underestimate them, though, as this is the same team that scored 81 in the opener and came away with 55 in their game last week against Hawaii. The Ducks can score. Colorado will score, too, and keep the game close.
But, in the end, Oregon wins the game, and the Buffaloes cover. If we had to give a final score prediction for this game on Saturday, we are going to Oregon Ducks 41-28 over the Colorado Buffaloes.
