The NFC is becoming the wild wild west, and we will get to take a trip out west for this game on Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys are on the road to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
These two teams were projected to be strong contenders for this season, and that has been mostly true besides two of the Rams’ losses that they were unimpressive at best.
As always, there has been a lot of talk surrounding the Dallas Cowboys, even when they are missing Dak Prescott, and Cooper Rush has been leading the way.
Without Dak, the Cowboys are still pushing opponents around, and their defense has been one of the saving graces of this season.
Expect to see a huge amount of Cowboys’ fans in the stadium this Sunday, and they are going to be loud in the stands.
As we look at the spread for this game, the Rams draw the favorite on their home turf over the Cowboys at -4.5.
No Dak Prescott, no problems in Dallas
Early on, when Cooper Rush took over, Jerry Jones joked that there would be a quarterback controversy in Dallas when Prescott returned healthy.
Well, it might not be so much of a joke anymore with the way that this team has rallied around Cooper Rush and how he has been able to lead them towards the top of the NFC in such a short amount of time.
The defense is leading the way for the Cowboys, and Micah Parsons is going to be a perennial top player in this league for many years to come.
Dallas is frisky and can force any good team to make mistakes, and they have never really been able to do that before.
Problems are starting to seep in for the Los Angeles Rams
After a successful championship run last season, the Los Angeles Rams are starting to show signs of weakness in their team.
Their offense is entirely centered around Cooper Kupp, who has not been able to carry the load on his own shoulders.
Running the ball has not been a strong suit, and they continue to struggle on that area of the field, and no other receiver has stepped up in a big way.
Even their defense is not as sound as it once was, giving up more explosive plays in some of their losses this season.
Cowboys @ Rams Betting Predictions
After being under so much fire in a miserable Week 1 loss in Dallas, the Cowboys have rebounded in the biggest of ways and continue to show how impressive they are.
With such a strong and committed defense, they are a force to be reckoned with, and Matthew Stafford may be running for his life in this game.
The Cowboys as an underdog here makes sense, but having a large fan presence at this game in Los Angeles is going to benefit them in a big way.
Take the Cowboys at +4.5.
