The Boston Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks in a pivotal game 5 in their opening round playoff series. The home team has won every game so far in this series, and the Celtics hope this trend continues Tuesday night. Milwaukee was able to even the series in game 4 after a tip in bucket by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Both teams feature young stars with little playoff experience, but both teams have played well through the first four games. The Celtics are the 2 seed in the East, but are playing without All Star Kyrie Irving. Milwaukee, led by Antetokounmpo, looks poised to knock off the Celtics. Boston is -2.5 over the Bucks in game 5.

Boston Must Protect Home Court
The Boston Celtics looked much more comfortable playing at home than they did in Milwaukee. The Celtics know that they can’t afford to lose game 5 and have to try to stave off elimination in Milwaukee. Boston came from behind in game 4, before ultimately falling to the Bucks in the game’s final possession.
Celtics guard, Jaylen Brown did his best to lead the Celtics in game 4. Brown scored 34 points in the loss, and was also tasked with trying to stop Antetokounmpo for much of the game. Brown, along with Jayson Tatum have stepped up in Irving’s absence. The two young stars will have to play well in game 5 if the Celtics are going to win.
Bucks Follow the “Greek Freak”
Giannis Antetokounmpo, “The Greek Freak,” is doing just about everything for the Milwaukee Bucks in this series. Antetokounmpo is averaging 26.9 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game through the first 4 games of this series. He also had the game winning tip in basket to win game 4 and even the series at 2-2. Milwaukee will go as far as “The Greek Freak” can take them.
The Bucks know that they have the best player in this series, but they also know that he needs a little help. Forwards Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker are two players who have provided support to Antetokounmpo’s show. Middleton is averaging over 25 points per game in this series, and will look to stay hot in game 5. Milwaukee knows that they can win at home, but now must prove that they can win in Boston.
The Trend Continues, Celtics Win at Home
The Celtics have been playing shorthanded all year, and they continue to find ways to win. They know that they could be leading this series 3-1, but they still have home court advantage in their favor. The young stars of the Celtics will get an extra boost from the fans in game 5 as well.
Milwaukee will again rely on Antetokounmpo to try to steal game 5 on the road. “The Greek Freak” is capable of leading the Bucks, but he will need other players to step up in this pivotal game 5. This should be another very close game, but the Celtics have the advantage of playing at home and will take the series lead. Bet the Boston Celtics -2.5 over the Milwaukee Bucks in game 5.
