Duke Blue Devils
Senior Grayson Allen was on the national title team in 2015, and he is looking to close his career with another one. The guard is scoring 15.6 points per game. He is second in scoring to Marvin Bagley III with 21.2 points per game, and an additional 11.1 rebounds per game. The Blue Devils are scoring more than 84 points per game.
The Blue Devils are seeking their 17th trip to the NCAA Final Four. The Blue Devils have won 5 national titles, with 3 since 2000. Duke has won 111 tournament games, with just 36 losses. The Blue Devils lost before the NCAA Tournament in the ACC Tournament to their rivals – the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Kansas Jayhawks
Bill Self and his Kansas Jayhawks saw their 20 point lead drop to 4 late in the win over Clemson, but they got the job done. The Jayhawks have seen great production out of their third and fourth guard Malik Newman and LaGerald Vick. Those two combined for 30 of the Jayhawks 80 points in the win over Clemson.
Devonte Graham has not had a good tournament thus far, but still scored 16 in the win. The senior guard was voted the Big 12 Player of the Year with 17.3 points per game, and an additional 7.4 assists per game. The Jayhawks are seeking their 15th trip to the NCAA Final Four.
Kansas Tops Duke
This should be an excellent basketball game. Two of the top programs in all of college basketball are going at it. Bill Self has had a great career, but not to the level that Coach K has had. Look for both teams to play well in this game. Marvin Bagley III is the huge key for Duke, while Devonte Graham is the man for Kansas.
If Duke does not decide to play defense the whole game, they will have a tough time slowing down the outside shooting of the Kansas Jayhawks. Look for Kansas to win this game, and head to the Final Four in San Antonio. Bet on the Kansas Jayhawks +3 over the Duke Blue Devils on Sunday.
