Warriors Looking to First Win
The Golden State Warriors are looking for their first win of the 2017 season. The Warriors lost by 1 against the Rockets, with Kevin Durant hitting a shot just after time expired. The Warriors scored 121 points in the win, including 71 in the first half. Durant played 38 minutes in the loss, and scored 20 points, and dished out 7 assists.
Draymond Green only played 28 minutes in this game, and left due to injury. It’s likely that he will not play in this game. Point guard Steph Curry finished the game with 22 points and 4 assists. Off the bench, Nick Yong added 23 points, including making 8 of 9 shots.
Pelicans Looking for More Offense
The New Orleans Pelicans are looking for more offense in their second game. With Antony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins in the starting lineup, this team is expected to contend for a postseason spot. The Pelicans saw Davis play 40 minutes and score 33 points and rip down 18 rebounds in the loss.
Cousins scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss as well. Jrue Holiday is the starting point guard for the Pelicans since Rajon Rondo is out for a few games. The Pelicans are playing their first home game here.
Warriors Down Pelicans
The Golden State Warriors are going to come into this game mad after their first loss of the season. The Warriors lost their first game last season as well, so all is not lost. The Warriors will have to start defending better, and look for them to do so against an offensive team that is no where near as skilled as the Houston Rockets. Offensively, the Warriors will have no problem scoring on New Orleans.
Even without Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors are going to win this game, and win it big. The Golden State Warriors start a winning streak in this game. When you are betting on this game – make sure you take the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Golden State -8 is the bet to make on Friday.
