A week after the PGA Championships, we move to the Wyndham Championships this weekend. At Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro North Carolina, the par 70 course with more than 7,127 yards will be the host of the tournament. Si-Woo Kim is the defending champion, and also the record holder at the course. He shot 259 last season ato win the tournament and tie Carl Pettersson in 2008. The total purse for this event is nearly $6M. Here are our Free Picks and Tips for the PGA Wyndham Championships.
>> Bet on the Wyndham Championships at our favorite sportsbook — 5Dimes
Kevin Kisner 15/1
The 33 year old from South Carolina had a chance to win the PGA Championships last weekend, but fell a bit short. He has moved into the Top 10 on the PGA Money List, at 9th with more than $4.1M earnings. Kisner finished 7th at the tournament, with his struggles on the final two days of 72 and 74. Kisner is one of the guys that many are talking about with a chance to take down the next big one. Look for Kisner at 15/1 to compete for a title here.
Keegan Bradley 30/1
The 31 year old from St. John’s University has finished in the Top 10 5 times this season. Keegan finished 33 last week at the PGA Championships. In three out of his last five events, Bradley has wrapped up in the Top 15. He has made over $1.8M this season out on the course. Bradley at 30/1 is a pretty good bet for this tournament.
Grayson Murray 40/1
Just three weeks ago Grayson Murray came away with the win at the Barbasol Championships by firing -21. He missed the cut in Canada, and then came away with a 22nd place finish at the PGA Championships. Murray is just 23 years old, so certainly a guy to look out for in the next couple seasons.
Kevin Na 50/1
Kevin Na is a tough guy to figure out. He has all the skills to be a great golfer, but always seems to fall a little short of expectations. Na finished in the Top 10- 3 times this season. The 33 year old has earned nearly $1.2M on the tour this season. Born in South Korea, Na missed the cut at the PGA Championship and aso at the John Deere Classic. His best recent finish was 22nd at the Quicken Loans. Despite his struggles, this seems to be a good fit for Na.
Danny Lee 60/1
The 27 year old is listed 60/1 odds to win this event. That’s pretty good odds for the talent that Lee brings to the course. Lee missed the cut at the PGA Championship which came after his 32nd place finish at the Canadian Open. Lee can really hit the golf ball, so if he can figure out some of the middle game, he will be a good underdog pick. Lee’s 9th place finish at the Greenbrier was his best recent finish.
Boom. There you have it. We are ready for the Wyndham Championships, and have a pretty good grasp on the betting side of the tournament. We are looking forward to the event, and want to give you the best chance to dominate the sports book. Our final bet is going to go with Grayson Murray at 40/1. It’s time for this young stud to take down a title. He has been knocking at the door of several events lately, and now it’s time to take one down. Bet on Grayson Murray at 40/1 odds.
