The NBA Eastern Conference Finals series featuring the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers is headed to a decisive game 7. The Cavaliers were able to force a game 7 by defeating the Celtics 109-99 in game 6. This series appeared destined to go the distance from the outset and now the two teams will battle one more time for a shot to reach the NBA Finals.
The home team has won every game in this series, and none of the games have been relatively close. Cleveland has struggled on the road this entire postseason, while the Celtics have been unbeatable at home. Game 7 will be an extremely physical game that should be highly contested throughout. The Boston Celtics are -2.0 over the Cavs in game 7.

LeBron James Continues to Amaze
LeBron James, playing in his 15th NBA season, is perhaps playing the best basketball of his career. James poured in 46 points in the game 6 victory and delivered clutch shots every time that the Celtics tried to mount a comeback. LeBron has won the last five game 7’s that he has played in, and is trying to reach his 8th straight NBA Finals.
The Cavs could potentially be without All-Star power forward Kevin Love for game 7. Love was injured early in game 6, and is being evaluated for a concussion. The loss of Love would be a huge blow to the Cavaliers, but in game 6 they had plenty of other players step up in his absence. George Hill and Jeff Green combined for 34 points in the victory, and the Cavaliers will need this same level of production in game 7.
Celtics Love Playing at Home
The Boston Celtics are 10-0 at home this postseason, a trend that they hope will continue in game 7. The Celtics have struggled to score on the road in these playoffs, but the young stars have been impossible to beat at home. The Cavaliers played well on offense in game 6, but were unable to find a way to stop LeBron James.
Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown led the Celtics attack in game 6, and both players are capable of leading Boston to a game 7 victory. Rozier knocked down six three point shots in the game 6 loss, and the Celtics hope that his hot shooting continues in game 7. The Celtics are hoping that the pressure of a game 7 doesn’t get to be too much for their young roster.
Cavs Knock Off Celtics
Boston plays with a different kind of energy at home, and the crowd will be amped up for a game 7. The Celtics have looked invincible at TD Garden this postseason, but they have yet to play in a game with this much pressure. Boston needs to get off to a good start in game 7 to keep their crowd engaged and to put pressure on the Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers have not played well in Boston this series, but LeBron James knows how to guide his team to a game 7 victory. If the Cavs get the same level of production from their bench as they got in game 6, that should be enough for the win. LeBron is still the King and he won’t be relinquishing his crown on Sunday night. The Cavaliers find a way to get the win, and LeBron advances to his 8th straight NBA Finals. Bet the Cleveland Cavaliers +2.0 in game 7.
