Largest Week 5 NFL Public Betting Action

The money lines have been brutal to NFL public bettors.  There are nine of those with heavy one-sided action for Week 5 NFL Sunday.  Most of the totals, which are the only place NFL bettors have been successful this season, are also lopsided when it comes to the percentage of tickets written.

There are just five NFL spreads with lopsided action on Sunday.  These picks have gone 11-14 through the first four NFL Sundays. In the first part of the season Vegas sportsbooks have crushed the public bettors so far and we’ll see if that trend continues with these Week 5 games.

Money lines are bets where a player decides that a team will win the game outright.  Point spreads are not used.  A minus indicates that a bettor will lay that much to win $100.  A plus shows the amount that a bettor will win on a $100 bet on an underdog.  There are nine lopsided money lines this week.  Like last week, there are many underdogs on the list.  Lopsided money line picks are down almost 20 units in the first five weeks of NFL betting.
