The first game of the season. The defending Super Bowl Champions. Then on the other side, you got the Detroit Lions. The Lions are a team that many think can take over and win the NFC North with the loss of Aaron Rodgers in the division. Can Detroit stay consistent and disciplined enough for a 17-game season?

We are talking about just one game here, and both teams are going to be prepared, but also, both teams are going to be rusty. Emotions will be high for the Chiefs, so if Detroit can take care of the ball early, this could be a game. This is definitely one to watch as Week 1 kicks off.

Miami Dolphins +2.5 at Los Angeles Chargers, 50

These are two teams that many feel could blow up in the already tough AFC. When you think of the AFC, you think of the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Buffalo Bills. These two teams are talented teams. Tua for the Dolphins and Herbert for the Chargers.

Both guys can throw the football. Both are tough, and both have plenty of pieces around them. This Week 1 game will be a great one, as look for both teams to gunsling the football. We feel this could be the very BEST game of Week 1.

Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 at Cleveland Browns, 47

In a battle of AFC South teams, the rest of the division is tired of hearing about Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. If the Browns want to put themselves into consideration in this division, this is a game that would certainly benefit them to win.

The Browns are going to want to slow the game down and protect the ball. Cleveland will look to pound the football on the ground and make an effort to keep Burrow off the field. Look for a thrilling game and, oh yeah – a state rivalry.

Dallas Cowboys -3 at New York Giants, 46.5

It is never too early for a thrilling NFC East game—the Sunday Night Football game of the week to start the season. The Dallas Cowboys are “America’s Team” but will take on a New York team that will likely remain with question marks as the season gets going.

Dak Prescott on one side, against Daniel Jones on the other. Look for both teams to bring a little something special into the opener. A prime-time game puts plenty of eyes on this one, but we also feel this will be a great football game.

Buffalo Bills -1.5 at New York Jets, 47

The final game of Week 1. A divisional rivalry game and a state rivalry game. The Buffalo Bills are the favorites to win the division, while the Jets will be showing off their new quarterback. The Jets brought Aaron Rodgers over, but does he have enough weapons, and can the Jets’ offensive line protect him enough?

If the Jets want to be a factor in the divisional race, this is a game the Jets would love to win at home. In front of a huge crowd, this is a great way to wrap up Week 1 of the season.
