The Chargers head to Cincy to play the Bengals, as second-year gunslingers are set to do battle. Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow have both been absolutely incredible to this point in the year, impressing at pretty much every single turn. The teams are each competing for playoff spots, and this is a critical matchup that is about to take place.
Herbert has only gotten better in year two, and the wins have been a little more plentiful than before. The team could not close out games last year, and it is clear that a coaching change had to happen, the aura of confidence around Brandon Staley helping everybody to be better. There is so much to be happy about for L.A. as they look toward the future and more wins.
As for the Bengals, this year has been a pleasant surprise. They had slipped into extreme mediocrity over the prior few years, ending up with the number one pick in 2020. Oh, how lucky they were, landing Joe Burrow, who has answered all of their prayers this season. Another losing mark as he got hurt led them to draft his old LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase.
The winner of this game will get a leg up on the other in the battle for the wild card. This promises to be an exciting battle between two deserving squads.

Chargers Looking to Bolt Up
At 6-5 in a crowded AFC race, this is a must-win for the Bolts. The Chargers have had some great moments throughout the year. They have also lost a lot of games they should have been winning, so it is sort of like a normal season for this odd team. But they are finally in the playoff mix again.
For all of the great years they had with Philip Rivers, they still found ways to avoid the Super Bowl. He never made it to one and is probably one of the best QB’s that never accomplished that feat before.
The team will need to get the running game going and make sure they can keep the Bengals from beating them with big plays throughout.
Bengals Trying to Keep Pace with Baltimore
A loss from the Bengals combined with a win by the Ravens would put this team two games out of first. They can also overtake Baltimore by winning and watching them lose. They will be able to follow that game, as it does not start until the late-afternoon window.
Burrow has been slinging the ball all year, as the new offensive line has done wonders for this team. So many impressive wins under their belt as is, they are trying to add just one more. They have a great unit here that knows how to make plays.
They will need their D to step up.
Bolts Win
The Bengals will take a home loss, as the Chargers get it done on the East Coast.
