The fourth game of the round two series between Houston and LA is set to be played on Thursday night. It will mark the first time for either team playing the early game since the middle part of the first round. With Miami vs. Milwaukee done, the game will tip-off at 7:00 ET.
Los Angeles has looked dominant in this series, and they have finally shifted their style to adapt to Houston. He and Davis have proved to be a dominant duo, with their eyes on the title. Winning one in the West would add a new chapter of dominance to James’ storied career. The return of Rajon Rondo has given them a significant lift in the past two games. He’s making critical shots and passes.
People underestimated the impact he would have on the floor, but real basketball fans know how good he always is in big games.
Rockets in Dire Need of Win
A loss in Game 4 would doom Houston and their small-ball style. It is hard to tell if this will continue into next year or if Mike D’Antoni is sticking around. All of the rumors can be squashed each night that they win. And tonight would be a great time for them to make a statement.
The Lakers are the toughest matchup in the West for them because of their extreme size at nearly every position. They also have a star big man out there. Playing Davis at center is still small ball for them. And it makes it hard for PJ Tucker and Robert Covington, who can only do so much.
If the Rockets want to win, they need to make 20+ threes, and James Harden needs to evade double teams with greater success.
