Things have been good for the Los Angeles Rams over their first two games following a Super Bowl performance to forget. The Patriots held them to just three points, and they could never get the offense off the ground in the last game of the 2018 season. To begin this season, they have had a few solid wins, including blowing out the Saints in an NFC title game rematch and scoring 34 against the Panthers. The offense has been putting points on the board, just as they need.
Cleveland, on the other hand, had a great bounce-back victory against the Jets on Monday after the Titans gave them the business in the opening week of the year. The Browns moved to 1-1 and now hope to get over .500, a place they have not seen much over the previous five years. The number of playmakers on this Browns team is absurd, and now they all need to come out to play so the team can pull the upset.
The spread for this game favors the Rams by 4.5 points, while the over/under is set at 47.5 points.
LA Looks For Third Straight Win
Having picked up wins in their first two contests, the Rams are out here in search of another. The running game has been terrific for them so far, not only with Todd Gurley but with Malcolm Brown, who has played well enough to keep rookie RB Darrell Henderson off the field. Their passing offense has gotten off to a solid start too with Jared Goff leading the way, and they will be hoping to see it continue, too. This is a team with aspirations to go as far as they did last season.
The best defensive player in the league in Aaron Donald resides here, and he has continued to be a dominant force. There is not much that any teams in the NFL can do to slow him down. And they just have to deal with that.
Cleveland Hoping To Get Past .500
ith the loss to Tennessee in the rearview mirror, the team is hoping to keep things rolling like they did against the Jets a week ago. It is going to be very important for Baker Mayfield to limit his turnovers as if that turns into any bit of an issue, LA is going to score points off them, and they will not be able to stop them. Odell Beckham Jr. played very well a week ago and is hoping to keep it going as he will be facing some tough players in that LA secondary. He and Jarvis Landry will be the team’s keys to victory.
The defense led by Myles Garrett has been solid and will have to continue to be so. They brought endless pressure to Luke Falk and Trevor Siemian last week, and they will have to do the same for Goff.
Browns Pull Off Primetime Upset
Make sure you bet on Cleveland, folks! They are 4.5 point-underdogs, and they will get it done in front of the Dawg Pound.
