The highlight game of the playoffs so far came in game four of the series between the Miami Heat and the Bucks when Jimmy Butler erupted for 56 points and spear-headed one of the best comebacks we have ever seen in any round.
The Milwaukee Bucks are now on the brink of elimination as the series returns to their home court, and it’s a precarious spot for the number overall seed in the playoffs.
Giannis took the floor and suited up for game four, and for much of the game, the difference in the Bucks’ consistency was easy to see.
It all fell apart in the final minutes, though, as the Heat ripped a vicious 13-0 run and then followed up by taking the lead a few possessions later.
The running joke of the Eastern Conference was that nobody wanted to play the Miami Heat, but now we have seen firsthand why that is entirely true.
Ahead of game five’s tip-off on Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Bucks are favored on their home court over the Miami Heat at -11.5.
Jimmy Butler drawing comparisons to Michael Jordan
In a magnificent display of offense, Jimmy Butler dazzled all spectators on Monday night with his sensational performance in the end of game four.
The Heat are missing Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo from their lineup, and Bam Adebayo had an off shooting night as well.
It didn’t matter, as Butler poured in 56 points and just dominated the Bucks in every sense of the word. Something about the playoffs awakens a newfound energy in Butler.
Not only that, his three-point shooting took a huge leap, and he has the Bucks on their heels in every game that he takes the floor.
Answering the wake-up call
With Giannis missing a couple of games for this series, the Bucks had a built-in excuse as to why the series had been so tight to start.
While he may not be 100% in his return so far, the Bucks still need to figure out what is going wrong for them in this series.
It might be something as simple as a clutch factor, or maybe it has something to do with their effort and energy for this series.
Whatever the reasoning may be, the Bucks have their backs against the wall, and they will be in front of their home crowd.
Heat at Bucks Betting Prediction
In terms of pure matchup, the Bucks should have the Heat’s number in every sense of the word, but they certainly are having troubles here with Jimmy Butler.
If Butler is going to continue to outplay Giannis as he did in game four, the Heat deserve to win the series, and they should win this game with no problem.
Otherwise, for this Wednesday night matchup, the Bucks drawing a double-digit performance may speak to the belief that they will turn up their intensity instead of coasting.
The Heat are in a good spot with absolutely no pressure on them, so take them to close the series at +11.5.
