The Miami Heat will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in what’s expected to be one of the more interesting games of the night. Cleveland comes into this one playing some impressive basketball recently as they’ve won three straight games.
Miami, on the other hand, is still in a playoff spot at the moment but has won just three of their last 10 games.
Although Miami has struggled a bit throughout their past few games, this is certainly a game that they can come away with.
Cleveland and Miami just played on Wednesday night, and the Cavaliers were able to come away with a four-point victory.
The Cavaliers come into it this one as a 1.5-point favorite on the spread line. Their moneyline Is -120, while Miami is currently +100 on the moneyline.
Will Miami Bounce Back?
When looking at what the Miami Heat have done this season, it’s easy to see why many believe that this is been one of the more disappointing teams in all of basketball this season. They simply haven’t been able to get much going for most of the season, and it’s been a major call for concern.
Coming into the season, it looked as if the Heat were going to be able to possibly even win an NBA title if things did go their way. This team has been to an NBA championship and an Eastern Conference Final in two of the previous three seasons, meaning everybody knew exactly what they had to offer.
Still, this Heat team hasn’t been able to get much going throughout any part of the season. They had a stretch after the All-Star break and right before the All-Star break where they were playing much better basketball, but that hasn’t been the case throughout their past ten games as now they can’t find a way to get wins.
Their inability to score the basketball is a major issue, and if they want to change that, guys like Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo have to step up.
Cleveland Looking for Second Straight Against Miami
The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the more interesting teams in all of basketball this season. Some think that if they get hot at the right time, they could win an NBA championship. They come in at 42-26 and in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
Whether that’s enough for them to take down teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, or Philadelphia 76ers is still to be determined. However, when Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland are at their best, and their two elite big men in, Evan Mobley and Jarett Allen, can defend the rim, Cleveland is always a tough team to beat.
They’ve had one of the best defenses in the NBA for most of the season, and if Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell can continue playing at this level, there truly is no ceiling for Cleveland.
Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction
Although this game is going to be played in Miami, and the Cavaliers just beat them, taking them to win this game again doesn’t seem like a bad idea. Cleveland has been the better team throughout most of the season, and if that stays true, they should come away with the win here.
