If Game 1 is any indication of how this series is going to go, you may as well just watch the first half to learn how a broadcaster handles a blowout, and tune to whatever other game is on after that. Detroit is a mess without Blake Griffin, and once Andre Drummond got ejected in the opener, there was hardly anything that the Pistons could do as the Bucks rolled to the series-opening victory.
Milwaukee is hoping to keep the magic from that first game going and look to keep pouring it on. Life for these Bucks is as good as it has been in four decades, and it’s truly great to see. Even with Malcolm Brogdon out, they are keeping the W’s coming. The Bucks are -13 for Game 2 on Wednesday night.

Lots to improve on for Detroit
It is hard to say exactly what went right for the Pistons in that first game. If you are a Luke Kennard fan, you were hyped and screaming from your couch about how excited you were about his three-point production. That is where the fun stops however, as Thon Maker was jacking up missed threes like it is part of his job title. He was booed all game, and he didn’t find a rhythm.
With Blake Griffin likely out once again tonight, this team may find themselves in way over their heads once again. The moves they made at the deadline did little to prepare them for playoff basketball.
They do have last year’s Coach of the Year in Dwane Casey, who is more than capable of rallying a team that looks to be dead in the water. Some serious improvements are going to need to be made, though, as they need to crash the glass and limit Milwaukee to one shot each and every time down.
Bucks look like a top seed
So far so good for a team that hasn’t won this many games in a few decades. They have the fans behind them, a slew of talented wing players, and a superstar who is hoping to help them reach the top of the basketball world.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is already an MVP finalist, but he’s also trying to get the Bucks an NBA championship, despite the fact that they haven’t won a playoff series in 18 years. They have played well at home in playoff games in the past, while struggling on the road. Detroit will be a good test in games 3 and 4.
Though he struggled at the foul line, Giannis finished with 24-17-4, and impacted the game on a number of levels. The Bucks had seven players in double figures, and nobody had to log more than 28 minutes, so every single guy is fresh and raring to go for another one.
Bucks win big, go up 2-0
To the surprise of absolutely no one, the Bucks will win Game 2. Detroit will come out hot, but it won’t continue into the second quarter. Milwaukee will seize control of the game as they take a 2-0 series lead! Be sure to bet MIL -13!
