Kentucky, under John Calipari, seems to lose their starting five each and every year, with wholesale changes being made when all of the freshmen declaring for the draft. They are a win away from being inside the Elite Eight, however, as something always seems to click for these Wildcats.

Houston:
Corey Davis Jr. led the team during the regular season with 17 points per game, while Armoni Brooks averaged 13 points and six boards. In their first-round meeting with Georgia State, they wiped the floor with their opponent, coming away with a 29-point win. Corey Davis Jr. finished the game with 27 points, seven boards, and six assists. Fabian White Jr. finished with a double-double, and Braeon Brady had 13 points and eight boards. Everybody who they needed to step up did just that.
It took until the second half to break away from Ohio State, but when they did it, they showed no mercy on the #11 seed. Once again, it was Corey Davis Jr, powering them to victory with his 21 points and six boards. Galen Robinson had 13 points and five assists, while Fabian White had 11 points and five boards. The key element to this team winning games is the productivity of Corey Davis.

Here we are again with the Wildcats, who have been terrific all year. PJ Washington, who led the team in points and rebounds this year, did not play in the first two rounds. And now he’s making his triumphant return in the Sweet 16 to try and lift his team even further. They proved to not need him against Abilene Christian, as Keldon Johnson had a team-best 25 points in the game. Tyler Herro finished with 14, while Reid Travis was also dominant with his 18 points and nine rebounds.
When they got to Wofford, it took a lot for them to hold off the three-point specialists. Limiting Fletcher Magee to 0 threes on 11 attempts was probably the most impressive part of the low-scoring W. Reid Travis had 14 points and 11 boards in the win, while Ashton Hagans was also in double-figures with 12 points. Keldon Johnson had just nine.
