The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Washington Redskins. This is the first of two games, with the second one being the Los Angeles Rams playing on the road at the San Francisco 49ers.

Washington Begins Quest to Repeat as NFC East Winners
The Washington Redskins are seeking their second straight NFC East title. Kirk Cousins back behind center and looking for another terrific season. His top receivers will once again be DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon with Jordan Reed at tight end.
Matt Jones should get the first chance at running back, with Chris Thompson as his backup. Washington looks for a healthy Ryan Kerrigan to lead the defense. The Redskins will contend with Dallas, New York and the Philadelphia Eagles out of the NFC East.
Steelers Without Bell
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without their top running back Le’Veon Bell for the first three games of the season. De’Angelo Williams will take his spot as the starting running back. Williams, the former starting running back for Carolina did well in his backup role a season ago.
The big ticket stars for the Steelers are quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and top receiver Antonio Brown. Many are projecting Brown lead the National Football League in touchdowns in 2016. The Steelers will give William Gay, Robert Golden, Mike Mitchell and Ross Cockrell the first chance to defend against the pass this season. Pittsburgh is in a pass happy division, with the Ravens, Bengals and Browns in the AFC North.
