On Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers are on the road at the Phoenix Suns. The 76ers are coming off a big win on Monday over the Heat. The win pushed them to 38-30 on the season. Philadelphia is now 6th in the East, just ahead of the Pacers and Heat.
For the Phoenix Suns, they are 39-29. The Suns have dropped to a tie for seventh in the Western Conference. The Suns are tied with the Dallas Mavericks, and only ½ game behind the Sacramento Kings. The Suns are three games ahead of the Warriors and Lakers.
The Phoenix Suns are -9 in this game over the 76ers. The total is 220.5.
76ers Looking for Third Straight
Philadelphia would love to get back on track, even before they get their big man back. The status of when Joel Embiid will return is up in the air. But, having the former Kansas star that was scoring 35 points per game will be a huge deal. The 76ers are getting 26.1 points per game from Tyrese Maxey in his place.
Kelly Oubre was a monster in the win on Monday. Another former Kansas star has now scored 22 points in back to back games. On Monday, he added 11 rebounds in the game. The 76ers also played Monday without the services of Tobias Harris, with an ankle injury.
Philadelphia will remain on the road for their next three games after this. The 76ers are at the Lakers Friday and Clippers on Sunday. They head to Sacramento, before coming home to take on the Clippers on March 27th.
Slow March for Suns
It has not been a great start to the month of March for the Phoenix Suns. They are 4-5 this month. Their most recent loss, they allowed 140 points in the game. The Suns will need to be better defensively if they want to win consistently down the stretch.
On the offensive side, there is no question they have the star power. Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal are all elite scorers. In fact, Durant is scoring 27.8, Booker at 27.2 and Beal at 18.8 per game. Outside of those three, Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon are next, combining for 25 per game.
Durant has struggled a bit as of late, with just 13 in Charlotte, and 11 in Milwaukee. Booker has gone nine straight games with 21+ points in each game. The Suns will remain at home on Thursday, as the Hawks come to town. Following that, the Suns are on the road for five straight games. They will visit the Spurs twice, the Nuggets, Thunder and then the Pelicans. The next home game is April 3rd against Cleveland.
Suns Top 76ers
The Phoenix Suns are at home, and a game they need to win. It is going to be important for the teams battling it out in the West to win as many games as they can, and try to avoid that play-in spot.
When push comes to shove, we like the talent of the Suns to take down the 76ers in this game. The final betting pick for this game is the Phoenix Suns -9 over the Philadelphia 76ers. Best of luck with all your NBA Betting and enjoy the game!
