Seattle Kraken at Dallas Stars Game 2 Betting Preview

The Seattle Kraken will take on the Dallas Stars on Thursday night for their second game in the second round.

Seattle was able to win the first game in overtime as they held a 4-2 lead before giving up two goals in the third period.

Seattle then scored a goal in overtime to secure the first win of the series.

This was a major win for Seattle as they desperately needed to get this win after they nearly blew a two-goal lead. Now, their focus is going to be on stealing another one in Dallas and returning to Seattle with a 2-0 series lead.

The sportsbooks aren’t anticipating that as Dallas comes in at -195 on the moneyline and +140 on the puck line. If Dallas comes out and does what they’re supposed to do, they should find a way to win this game.

Huge Game for The Stars

The Dallas Stars had one of the most interesting games of their season on Tuesday night. Goalie Jake Oettinger was playing like the best goalie in the playoffs but gave up three goals in less than a minute in the first period.

While it’s not expected that this will happen again, it was impressive that Seattle was able to do what they did on the offensive side of the puck. If they can come out and replicate that, Dallas is going to be in for a tough time. The Stars also had Joe Pavelski score four goals and didn’t win the game.

There will need to be some differences in what Dallas does in that game 2, but they looked decent in game 1 and it would make sense if they find a way to win game 2. Although Seattle did just prove to them that they can beat them on their home ice, Seattle is still going to have a tough time in this contest.

Can Seattle Steal Another?

The Seattle Kraken managed to play good hockey all season and it’s interesting why many believe that the Stars are going to win this series with ease. When looking at what they did all season, it’s obvious that they were one of the top teams in the NHL.

Not only did they have an impressive regular season that saw them end up in the playoffs with 100 points, but they also took down the Colorado Avalanche in seven games during the first round.

Colorado won the Stanley Cup last season and was expected to get back to that same position that they were in this year. Instead, Seattle showed them that they’re not to be messed around with and ended up beating them in Colorado in game 7.
