The Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants will get together on Monday Night Football to finish Week 4 of the National Football League.
The Seattle Seahawks have started the season with a 2-1 record in 2023. Seattle lost their opener to the Rams but have won back-to-back games since then.
For the Giants, they are 1-2. They also lost their opener in Week 3 to the San Francisco 49ers. The Seattle Seahawks come into this game on Monday Night at -2 over the Giants.
Struggles in the Big Apple
The New York Giants have gone 1-2 to start the season and have been outscored by 55 points. The Giants now come into this game with Saquon Barkley not likely to play. That’s a huge blow, as their offense showed they needed him in the loss to the 49ers.
Barkley had 114 yards and a touchdown in 29 carries before his ankle injury. Matt Breida will take over the role as the starting running back. The Giants are averaging just 88 rushing yards per game.
Daniel Jones is the signal caller for the Giants. The quarterback has thrown for 562 yards and two touchdowns on the season. His top target has been tight end Darren Waller, with 12 receptions and 132 yards. The Giants also struggle to pass the ball, ranking 28th in the league.
The schedule makers are not kind to the Giants, as they go on the road in their next two games at the Miami Dolphins and then on the road at the Buffalo Bills.
Carroll’s Seeking Third Straight
Pete Carroll, the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, is seeking his third straight win this season. Seattle has never lost at MetLife Stadium, so they also want to keep that record alive. The Seahawks have scored 37 points in each of their last two games. On the season, the Seahawks are scoring 29 points per game.
Kenneth Walker is the lead running back for Seattle. Walker is helping Seattle rush for more than 104 yards per game. The former Michigan State running back has 204 yards and four touchdowns on the season. DK Metcalf is the top receiver for the Seahawks, with 15 receptions, 234 yards and a touchdown.
The Seahawks are playing their final game before their bye week. Week 5 will be off for Seattle, and then they come back with a road game at Cincinnati before back-to-back home games against the Cardinals and Browns.
Seattle Smashes New York
The Seattle Seahawks enter New York and smash the Giants in this game. With no Barkley, the offense for the Giants just does not have enough firepower. Seattle has a pretty good offense, and the Giants have slowed down opponents’ offenses this year.
Look for the Seahawks to get ahead early and run away with this one. Seattle wins this game and wins by double digits. The Seattle Seahawks -2 over the New York Giants is the bet on Monday Night Football.
