We have an exciting college basketball game on Wednesday night as the TCU Horned Frogs will take on the Baylor Bears. If TCU comes out and continues playing the way they have this year, this is going to be an exciting game. Both of these teams come in ranked within the top 20 in America this season, which is always exciting to watch. With this also being a Big 12 game, we can expect one of the best games of the season. The Bears come in at 10-3 on the year, while TCU is currently 12-1.
Baylor comes in as a 6-point favorite and a moneyline of -240.
Baylor Needs to Get Going Early
With the way that Baylor has played this season, it’s evident that this team is legit, but can be even better than they’ve currently played. They have some impressive wins on the season against UCLA, Gonzaga, and Washington State. However, they have losses against Marquette and Iowa State. Their recent loss against Iowa State was disappointing, and they need to bounce back.
Adam Flagler, a senior guard out of Georgia, is currently one of the best college basketball players in the country, and he has been for the past few seasons. He comes into this one averaging 16.5 points, five assists, and shooting an efficient 48.4% from the field as a guard. He’s scored at least 20 points in his last two games, and it would make sense if he finds a way to dominate once again against a tough TCU defense.
TCU Can Upset Baylor
TCU is also a really good team, and although it is tough to say that they are better than Baylor, they’ve played better than them to start the season. Baylor has had more success throughout the past few years, so if we want to go on that, it’s not a bad idea to think about it. TCU is going to be coming into this one with wins over Iowa, California, Providence, SMU, Utah, and Texas Tech. However, this will be the first game that they play against a ranked opponent, and it’s their first of three games in a row. They realize that this is a huge one to get for them in the Big 12.
Mike Miles is the guy for the Horned Frogs, as he’s coming into this one averaging 18.6 points and shooting an insanely efficient 52.1% from the field. He ranks in the top 50 in terms of points scored and top 100 in terms of field goal percentage. The junior guard out of Highlands, Texas, has been on a tear recently, scoring at least 21 points in each of his last two games and at least 15 in each of his last five.
TCU vs. Baylor Betting Prediction
This could be a tough game to bet on because of how well both teams have played. This seems like a great spot for TCU to cover, despite Baylor being the better team. TCU has played well and should be able to keep this one close. If you like the home team, taking Baylor also isn’t a bad idea.
