Thanksgiving has come to an end, and the three pack of National Football League action is complete. We saw three games, and a bunch of points on the day. Let’s recap the three pack of games in the National Football League from Thanksgiving Day!
Green Bay Packers 29-22 over Detroit Lions
The first game of the day was an upset. The Green Bay Packers scored 20 first quarter points and ended up beating the Detroit Lions by a score of 29-22. It was a great game for rookie quarterback Jordan Love, as he threw for 3 touchdowns in the game. Love finished 22 of 32 for 268 yards in the game as well. Christian Watson was the top receiver for the Packers with 94 yards and a touchdown.
For Detroit, Jared Goff was not great, as he fumbled the ball three times in the loss. The loss for the Lions dropped them to 8-3 on the season, while the Green Bay Packers are now 5-6. The Packers will host the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday, while the Lions are on the road at New Orleans and Chicago in their next two games.
Dallas Cowboys 45-10 over Washington Commanders
Daron Bland set an NFL record with his fifth interception returned for a touchdown and it was all Cowboys. Dallas led 20-10 at half, and scored 25 points in the fourth quarter to blow out the Washington Commanders in the game. Washington’s lone touchdown was a rushing touchdown from quarterback Sam Howell in the game.
Curtis Samuel caught 9 passes for the Commanders for 100 yards in the loss. The Cowboys used 331 passing yards and four touchdowns from Dak Prescott in the game. Tony Pollard was also sharp for the Cowboys with 70 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys win made them 8-3 on the season. They still trail the Eagles in the NFC East. For Washington, they are now 4-8, and seem to be out of the postseason race in the NFC. Dallas is at home against Seattle next week, while Washington is at home to take on the Dolphins.
San Francisco 49ers 31-13 over Seattle Seahawks
Kind of rinse, wash, repeat for the San Francisco 49ers. They got 31 points and won easily. The 49ers used their studs on the offensive side, and their defense took it from there. Christian McCaffrey finished with more than 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while Deebo Samuel also rushed for a touchdown in the win. Brock Purdy threw 209 yards and a touchdown as the 49ers rolled over their divisional rival. Seattle struggled all game long, and Geno Smith was not strong.
He finished with just 180 yards in the air and no touchdowns. The win for the 49ers pushed them to 8-3 on the season. It was their third straight win. The 49ers are now two games up on the Seahawks. Seattle falls to 6-5 on the season, as they look to keep their stop as one of the NFC wildcard teams. The 49ers are at the Philadelphia Eagles on December 3rd, while the Seahawks are on the road at the Dallas Cowboys.
Keep in mind – Black Friday has a NFL game as well. The New York Jets will host the Miami Dolphins in an AFC East battle. Enjoy the game and best of luck with your betting of this game and all the Week 12 action!
