The 4th ranked Connecticut Huskies are at the Butler Bulldogs in a Big East affair on Friday. UConn comes into the game ranked 4th in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Huskies are 12-2, and have won back to back games. On Tuesday, UConn smoked DePaul at home.
For Butler, they are looking to snap a two game losing streak. The Bulldogs lost at St. John’s on Tuesday. Overall, the Bulldogs come into the game with a 10-4 record.

The Butler Bulldogs lost on December 23rd on the road at Providence to finish their 2023 portion of the schedule. They were hoping 2024 would be nicer to them, but a 16 point loss at St. John’s has many in the program concerned. The other two losses for the Bulldogs were at Michigan State and to Florida Atlantic.
Butler sees four guys scoring double digits per game. The top scorer for the Bulldogs has been Pierre Brooks. Brooks is scoring 16.4 points per game. Next is Jahmyl Telfort, with his 14.4 points per game. The Bulldogs are scoring 822 points per game, which is 46th in College Basketball.
The Bulldogs will play at Marquette on January 10th and then battle Seton Hall on January 13th. Butler then plays at Xavier on January 16th.

The Connecticut Huskies are going to win this game. They are too talented, too big, too fast, too strong and too well coached to lose this game.
