Utah Jazz vs. Denver Nuggets Game 7 Betting Preview

The Jazz and Nuggets will meet for Game 7 on Tuesday night. The winner will go on to play the Clippers, and the loser is getting sent back home.

The Jazz had a 3-1 lead after taking games 2-4, but have been unable to put it away. Donovan Mitchell is playing out of his mind but is not getting enough help down the stretch of games. They will have to get more production from the likes of Jordan Clarkson and Mike Conley in Game 7.

And for Denver, they are no stranger to game 7’s. They played two of them last year in the playoffs and went 1-1. A win for them tonight and the 3-1 series deficit would have been erased. With the duo of Nikola Jokic and Murray, the team is tough to beat.

The big game is doing down at 8:30 PM on Tuesday, and neither team will want to be done. This will be a battle for the ages.

ODDS:

The Nuggets are favored by one point, with the over/under set at 218.5.

Jazz Try to Regroup

It’s been way too long, in their minds, since they won a game. The three-day layoff from games, topped with back-to-back losses, makes it feel like an eternity since their 3-1 series lead. And while Mitchell is averaging nearly 40 points per game, nobody else has been able to step up. That is the ultimate key.

Rudy Gobert has been defending well as always, but his scoring is not there for him down the stretch. Joe Ingles and Royce O’Neale have been good on defense and at moving the ball, but when push comes to shove, they cannot put the ball in the basket.

The team has a lot of work to do, and we’ll see if they can get it done. They will remember the season as a nightmare if they blow the 3-1 lead and fall short.

Denver Attempts to End Things

Having won two games in a row, the momentum is on their side. Jamal Murray is playing like the Hulk out there, unstoppable and scoring from all over the place. He is the fourth player in NBA Playoff History to drop 50+ twice in a playoff series. His opponent Donovan Mitchell is on that list too.

Nikola Jokic has taken a step back to allow Murray to close the games out but is still playing extremely well throughout the course of the 48 minutes. Jerami Grant made some timely shots, while Gary Harris brought some fantastic effort on the defensive end.

If they want to win Game 7, it’s simple. Utilize the two-man game between Murray and Jokic when needed. That’s how it’ll get done. One game decides it all.

Denver Moves On

Unless Mitchell scores 60, they won’t be winning. That’s the only way. Murray will go off one more time to lead his team to a win. They advance!
