Matt Geer is a freelance writer and the Editor-in-Chief here at 4Flush.com. Although most of Matt’s work is in the gaming space, he has done work in the tech, automotive, motorcycle, finance and web development space, too.
Today, Matt is married and lives in Oregon. He is one of the hardest workers in the gambling industry and takes his time when it comes to his articles and news posts. What we love about Matt is his no-nonsense attitude when it comes to his craft, and this is clearly shown in all of the work he’s done for us here at the site.
On top of that, the experience Matt brings to 4Flush is that of a winning sit and go player. Matt decided in late 2009/early 2010 that he wanted to get serious about becoming a winning player. His coach suggested that he play turbo sit and goes and multi-table tournaments, and that’s all he played until “Black Friday.”
Matt started off in the $3 18-man sit and goes, and by the time he was done he was playing the $30 level 18, 45 and 180-man games, and the $50 90-man KOs on Full Tilt. Matt has also final tabled a couple of MTTs, two of which he played at the same time (he took 3rd in one and chopped heads up in the other).
What sets Matt apart from other poker writers is his ability to break topics down so that they’re easy for beginners to understand. The simplicity and flow in his words makes his stuff both readable and fun. You’ll be seeing a lot more of Matt in the future, as he has already been a loyal piece to 4Flush.com since he’s joined us in early 2012.
