George Danzer Earns 4th WSOP Bracelet with $10,000 Stud Eight-or-Better Event Win

On Monday night, poker pro George Danzer was able to earn his 4^th World Series of Poker gold bracelet after defeating a field of 136 players in the 2016 $10,000 Stud Eight-or-Better tournament event. The win signified the first gold bracelet since 2014, when he earned three competing in the eight-game mix, razz and stud eight-or-better competitions.

The win by Danzer was quite impressive as he was down to his last two outs when in three handed play. He managed to hang on and stay alive, eventually earning the first place win after one additional hour of game play.

The final table was quite tough with such pros as Randy Ohel, Justin Bonomo and Todd Brunson among the competitors. Danzer would face off against Bonomo and Ohel in three handed play before Bonomo would be eliminated in third place. The pro has finished third in three events as well as earned additional cash outs in other WSOP events this year.

On the final hand, Danzer would earn the win with two pair, claiming his fourth World Series of Poker gold bracelet in the process. The pro won this very event back in 2014 and was happy to be earning the title once again.
